Honesty, a policy rarely followed.

You don't need to ask me over the phone how much a repair will cost. The prices are here. There are no surcharges, fees, or special circumstances. Below you'll see a few examples of people posting low prices while giving high prices, or tacking on charges. Some places such as crackedmacscreen.com think so little of you that the ad itself gives information that contradicts their home page, and others will post three different ads in a week with three different prices for the same repair. Who has the time to sort through this nonsense?

Some services don't bother to have the parts for the repairs they offer. As one can see in the compatibility section, it's easy to be fooled and buy crappy parts for more money than it would cost to buy good ones from the right supplier. It's happened to everyone I know who does what I do, including me. I avoid this by developing long term relationships with numerous different suppliers, each one offering a great deal on the specific product I need.

Your computer isn't an experiment for me to try my new part from some random supplier in. Mine work. Mine have no dead pixels, scuffs, or spots. In the rare case that it does, I carry 3 on me, which others won't, because they're ordering a part especially for you. They're ordering one, and if it's bad, you're stuck waiting a week or two while they scramble for a new one.

They also won't be at your apartment within 40 minutes of you calling.

I spend time everyday looking to see that I'm the cheapest for anything I offer, with quality original parts.
